Loved our light filled room with balcony. The breakfast offered plenty of appetising meals. The hotel had an amazing location not too far from Shahrazad Concert Hall. A bazaar and shops were right next door. It was surely a really nice stay for the price.

Everything was very good, comfy hotel. Breakfast with unlimited refills of coffee or tea. Courteous, welcoming staff towards all guests. Location right by main rail station, the centre of Cairo and nearby attractions. Also, iN THE CENTER.

Particularly good and excellent location, it's set next to all restaurant's And the Egyptian museum and the Nile river and all shops and cafes around and Egypt museum and SADAT metro station. There is a huge variety of restaurants to eat, like Excelsior that is only 10 minutes' walk away, we loved where it was located.

Smooth check-in, parking in the building. Reasonably spacious and airy room and a clean bathroom. Marvellous location to get to a museum and a palace located minutes from the hotel...

I stayed at Grand Royal for 7 nights while visiting the pyramids. The location is great and the staff is very helpful. The owner, Mr. Hussein, was kind and observant, allowing us to use another room to settle our stuff before heading to the airport. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The breakfast was simple but plentiful. The hotel is in a safe area and walking the busy streets felt secure. The staff was friendly and provided great recommendations for exploring the city. I had a fantastic stay at Grand Royal.

Exactly what it says on the tin. Clean, private room with decent view of the square from the balcony. Central location just 100m down from Tahrir Square.

Very noisy road outside. The drivers are constantly on their horns niht and day. Room was not entered during my four day say, so towels or sheets were never changed. Oh, and I didn't get any fresh flowers any of the days! Entrance and lift look scary as hell! Looks like you are entering a scene from Saw! Once on the 6th floor it improves.

I like it so much

The hotel is conveniently located near major tourist attractions, such as the museum and metro station. Guests can easily access most everything they want to visit. The rooms, although not grand, offer a small veranda with a view of the lively surroundings. The continental breakfast, though modest, includes options like cucumber, tomatoes, bread rolls. Additionally, there are local restaurants nearby that serve delicious pizza and pasta.

The staff at the hotel could be more attentive and accommodating to guests' needs.
